I just can't find any laminate flooring (by the meter not individual squares) in a square white tile effect. That's all i want - just a plain white square tile pattern. At a pinch maybe with the little black one in the middle type pattern.

I.cannot.find.any.

What the hell am i typing in wrong? Confused

TIA

If you want by the metre and not as tiles then I suspect you need to look for vinyl you don't get laminate by the metre unless you mean you want laminate planks? Just trying to clarify Smile

Look at LVT.

NoSquirrels · 28/05/2019 17:45

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen tile-effect laminate in that pattern, so I suspect there’s a reason for that, to do with the laying of it? We had grey tile-effect in an offset pattern and it was enough of a PITA to lay that I’d go for wood effect if doing it again.

Hopefully someone else can help you!

If not, I guess you need to decide is it the laminate that’s most important or the pattern? Lots of high quality vinyl or Karndean type stuff in traditional tile patterns.

Pashazade · 28/05/2019 17:51

This is the vinyl. (On a roll)

Thank you MNers Flowers

I've still not found the exact thing but i'm getting much closer.

Karndean have one which is a white square with quite a lot of dark marbling through it and the little black square. I wanted it a bit plainer.

It's to go in a bathroom, laid diagonally. Walls half white tongue and groove, half painted. Free standing bath. I think the floor should be very plain.

x posted Pashazade. Thank you. It's still a bit busy.

Blush now i'm being picky!

See I have all white bath/sink/loo & shower, other walls are pale and went with a dark marble effect Karndean. They will send you samples for free...

Still confused so...is it something like this you are looking for?

Sorry for some reason the share option won't work.

Ooh i'm loving the rich colour there! I'm a bit of a coward when it comes to colour.

I'm copying this :

but not the floor. We're having wooden floors all over the downstairs and i fancy something very plain in the bathroom.

If that's flooring then yes YourSarcasmIsDripping that would be the sort of thing.

What site is that?

Changed devices so let's see if it works. Details on the measurements are in the description.

You're spot on with the look Sarcasm but from what i can make out i think that's only for walls. The reviews are good.

Could have done with that in my old house actually! Grin

This one seems ridiculously pricey

LookImAHooman · 28/05/2019 19:51

Thick question but why not just tile it?

YourSarcasmIsDripping · 28/05/2019 19:51

Can't do proper links sorry

Laiste · 28/05/2019 19:58

That pale grey is quite nice Sarcasm. And yeah the first one is pretty pricey for what you get. Our bathroom will be 4m x 3m. You're links are fine :)

Not a thick question LookImAHooman! I first pictured us tiling it, but am now worried about weight to be honest. We're turning a bedroom into a bathroom and the joists will cope with a bath of water ect,but adding the weight of real tiles across the room needs to be considered. Or so I believe.

DH is going to be so happy about this ......... not, lol.

I suppose it’s a consideration but given that tiles are so much nicer would it be worth getting a professional opinion?
