We had a day out to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park yesterday, so have a fairly quiet day planned today.

Both girls are still sleeping Shock so I'm going to get dressed and tidy up in a minute. We need some suncream to take away on residential (for me and dd1) so will nip to Lidl at some point to see if they have theirs in

And dd2 has model making homework so we'll make a start on that I think.

Other than that, it'll be a slow, moochy, kind of day.

What about you? :)

DC are at school, after that we need to go and buy DS new shoes and then they have football club. Exciting times!

spiderlight · 28/05/2019 11:27

Not much at the moment. Waiting to find out whether or not DS is going ice-skating with his friend, so we can't go anywhere/do anything else until he hears back. I should be blitzing the bathroom ready for some work that has to be done in there tomorrow but I'm MNing instead.

ineedaholidaynow · 28/05/2019 11:30

Dentist and getting kit for DofE expedition (think it might be an expensive shopping trip as DS has pretty much grown out of everything)

hidinginthenightgarden · 28/05/2019 11:31

At local ice cream farm counting down the minutes!
Homework and maybe some games this afternoon.

Sirzy · 28/05/2019 11:32

We are on holiday (UK caravan) arrived yesterday and autisirc ds is fully overloaded at the moment so we are hiding out in the caravan in the dark.

Hopefully we will manage a bit of a walk later

bengalcat · 28/05/2019 11:34

Mines busy revising for A levels so I’ve been to the gym , walked dog and will otherwise be at her beck and call for food/ coffee etc

cookiechomper · 28/05/2019 11:34

Shopping then park to wear the kids out.

WhatHaveIFound · 28/05/2019 11:36

DD and i have just been to the gym, DS is doing Spanish revision.

I keep meaning to go to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. What's it like? I have two teens.

Pascha · 28/05/2019 11:38

Local woods with my parents then coffee and cake followed by dinner at home.

AnotherRubberDuck · 28/05/2019 11:41

Nothing! I'm so bored. Kids are being EVIL to each other. But I banned a trip to the park on account of their atrocious behaviour. Shot myself in the foot there.

Awaiting the imminent arrival of DC3 tried all the labour inducing tips they're all useless and trying to resist eating everything in the house.

x2boys · 28/05/2019 11:41

Not much ,dh gets paid on Friday so skint this week ,need to take the dog out and tidy up.

RunningKatie · 28/05/2019 11:48

Library, swimming catch ups. I was going to do baking this afternoon with them but they are off to the inlaws later so will save that for friday, or next weeks inset days!

Hoppinggreen · 28/05/2019 11:51

Waiting for someone to come and fix the boiler
DS playing Fortnite and dd sulking on the sofa because we can’t go out and she can’t hide in her room because it’s being painted

BirthdayKake · 28/05/2019 11:51

I've sent two of them to a sports camp for the day, and the other two (10yo and 3yo) will be coming to hospital with me for a CTG. I'm 33 weeks pregnant with a baby that's small for dates anyway and has now slowed down in growth so I've got to be closely monitored... Would be during half term! I hope the DC behave while I'm stuck to a machine.

PenguinsRabbits · 28/05/2019 11:57

Went on boat trip to see seals, fish and chips by the sea and lavender farm shop yesterday so having a quieter ay today. DD has just emerged from bed, DS was up early and DH gone to work. DH is coming back soon and bringing us lunch from his work - 2 roast chicken and 1 stuffed pepper. DS was saying he wants to do a maths gcse paper so guess I will be doing that too.

Crunchymum · 28/05/2019 12:05

Just had our second swimming lesson (I've stuck mine in for an intensive course so we've got a lesson everyday) and then had our 6 monthly dental check-up.

Feel like I should do something fun but we're all tired and the weather doesn't look great. Think we'll pop to see granny this afternoon as she has been away and the kids have missed her.

happypotamus · 28/05/2019 13:04

DD2 is at nursery, DD1 didn't get up until 9 (they slept at their grandparents' house on Sunday night and apparently she was still awake at 11.30!). DH is off, so I went to an appointment this morning and he has taken DD1 to the library as she has run out of books to read. I don't know what we will do this afternoon. There is homework that we should start, because this is the only full day without annoying little sister to interrupt us.

HelenaJustina · 28/05/2019 13:08

Been into town and done a treasure hunt, bought some food as we get through so much more fruit and veg when they are home all day!
Mooching at home now but have a work meeting at 2pm. Will be shoving them in a side room with colouring/books and bribing heavily...

princessspotify · 28/05/2019 13:10

We were at a family caravan over the weekend. Need to have a general tidy up today. Ds1 is on the PS talking to his friends. Ds2 is making videos on his tablet about power rangers. We have the dentist at 3. Might take a detour to the park on the way back if it stays dry

ohtheholidays · 28/05/2019 15:15

Were having a quiet at home day today,we've done alot since Friday(DD11 had an inset day)and I'm crashing hard today(I'm disabled and have fibromyalgia)so I'm going to have a nap in a bit whilst my DH keeps our DD11 amused.

So far we've been to dobbies(on the friday)had lunch and cake and bought DD11 a new game, came home and played the game for a couple of hours.

On the Saturday I was out with my BF and her Auntie celebrating my birthday,my DH took our youngest out to spend her pocket money and treated all of our 5DC to a nice lunch.

Sunday we took our youngest out for a while and then came home and bought all of the DC a treaty lunch and I did a pamper session with our 2DD's in the evening.

Monday we popped into town so I could buy some of our DD15's birthday presents(she's turns 16 at the weekend)we stopped and had coffee and cake with our youngest, picked up bits for the bbq for that day, came home treated our DC to another treaty lunch and watched Dr who and then yesterday evening we had a bbq with family and friends and plenty of gin cocktails.
