What do you think is behind the US navy sightings of UFOs in the news today?

I think everyone assumes it's very fancy new tech being tested, but there's some argument that tech simply has not advanced that far. It talks of hypersonic speeds, no exhaust plumes etc. And doing stuff in the air that humans couldn't survive so must be drones.

Do you think it's in the news as distraction technique? Although it isn't really a big story.

They might be smarter/ nicer than humanity though.

Who knows ? It's something to keep Americans distracted while Donny is in Japan, but it is a fascinating story.

If you read to the bottom of the Huff Post article, it's in the news as promotion for a tv show starting on Friday....

Yeah the tv show features interviews about these more recent sightings that have been happening over the last few years. Since about 2014/ 2015 I think. But they have gone up quite a lot lately.
