What should I spend my Tesco vouchers on?

I’ve got £65 in clubcard vouchers I need to use up, normally I just pay for my shopping but it looks to be much better value to use them for other things.

What have you used yours for in the past and are there any recommendations?

goldsmith do 3x face value for jewellery/watches, annoyingly you are stuck with full price, you can't redeem against sale price

when the children were smaller we used to redeem them for meals, used to be a wide selection of places to go.

i was also looking at some Denby, but last time i looked all the things i liked were out of stock.

Night away in a hotel?

SleepingStandingUp · 27/05/2019 18:19

We use for SeaLife Centre and other local attractions, or meals. You get 3x value now so it's still a good deal

Once bought a Dyson totally with vouchers when 2x & electrical sale was on.

When DS was younger free entry to Drayton Manor.

Now boring & use 2x against Tesco mobile.

LoafofSellotape · 27/05/2019 19:23

rideawhiteswan · 27/05/2019 19:59

Madbengalmum · 27/05/2019 20:02

Magazine subscriptions?

Qweenbee · 27/05/2019 20:04

Used to be holidays including a Disneyland Paris one, but now just ferries, eurotunnel, meals out or goldsmiths.

Center parcs is cheap in Europe. Book a break there and use the vouchers for a ferry. Or hotels.com

snozzlemaid · 27/05/2019 20:37

Money off holiday cottage

In the past, I've bought a king size bed (still going strong 11 years later), a mattress, a leather sofa, a coffee table, a side board, a chimney hood (over cooker thing) and part payment for a washing machine....all at mfi when it was x4 value. Basically furnished my first home.

Also bought various pairs of glasses.

Now...I use it to treat us to pizza express or cinema tickets.

Pipandmum · 27/05/2019 20:43

I buy virgin air miles. Had enough to upgrade us to premium economy on our transatlantic flight return this Christmas!

FuckMNDoubleStandards · 27/05/2019 20:48

Could someone explain these vouchers to me? TIA. Smile

Kez200 · 27/05/2019 20:50

We used to get 4x restaurant vouchers (now 3x i think)

Currently im using rest up on 2x tesco mobile as i have a pay monthly account with them, so its helping with that.

Fifthtimelucky · 28/05/2019 17:05

I also had to use some up by the end of this month and have just taken out RHS membership. We live quite close to one of their 4 gardens though, and often visit an area where there is another, so am hoping to get good use of it (£21 worth of vouchers for single membership worth £63).

I also often get vouchers for Pizza Express or Ask, and give them to my children.

I like the deals where you get 3 x what the vouchers are worth!

MummytoCSJH · 28/05/2019 17:14

I buy flight points :)

DinosApple · 28/05/2019 17:21

We do English Heritage membership and RAC.

gobbin · 28/05/2019 17:34

We used ours on a ferry crossing. With quadruple points value we got it free, and had enough to include a berth on the way back.

Bubblysqueak · 28/05/2019 17:35

We used them for a day out at Longleat. Would have cost a fortune without them.
