Catering and trying to keep costs down Smile

I've never been there but done lots of Eurocamp stuff.

Take store cupboard things you only need small amounts of eg oil / salt / pepper / condiments / stock cubes etc.

Sharp knife, dishcloth (you can boil for 5 mins every couple of days to keep hygienic), decent veg peeler, pegs, scissors, sellotape, foil, small travel size bottle of washing up liquid, couple of washing tablets.

Rackets / balls / outdoor games / colouring / cards / small camping lantern, citronella candle

First aid kit inc after bite, plasters, sudacrem.

Take a few bits, we take teabags (how British) and I take salt & pepper plus a few herbs and spices if I'm cooking, ketchup. We've gone to France not the Netherlands and just hit carrefour for everything else. I think they have Lidl in the netherlands. I carry my own knives because I'm super fussy and I always take a picnic set even if not self catering as it's ideal for impromptu lunches out. I always carry a corkscrew even flying, and I take a cafetière when driving.
