Which books do my DD7 and DS9 need to read?

We're abroad, no access to a library with English books.
DS is reading alone about Biff/Chip level 6
DD is reading about level 4

Books they can read to themselves (with larger print? DS follows the letters with his fingers still) or books for me to read to them at bed time. I'm going to place an order this week and need some inspiration and recommendations.

At 9 DS was an avid and extremely competent reader so I'm not sure how these would suit your DS.

At 9 it was all Young James Bond. We alternated a chapter each and I found them as exciting as a book for 9 year olds can be really well written and paced. Prior to that it was Beast Quest. Again well written, though I believe the series has now stretched into about 200 odd books- I guess there would be some repetition along the line Grin

13 storey treehouse is very popular and not too challenging.
