Does anyone know please if you can dry socket after surgical wisdom tooth extraction with stitches? I thought the stitches would have kept the clot in but dh is displaying all the symptoms. Extraction Wednesday, pain progressively worse since Friday even though on top of painkillers, now has a stinky mouth and throbbing jaw and head pain. I've looked but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for.
