Talk to me about grey paint/Laura Ashley Paint

I'm decorating a largish kitchen/diner and thinking about painting the wall around some white cabinets grey (to make the cabinets stand out a bit more).
Laura Ashley currently have a sale on and I am very tempted to buy some grey paint although I have never actually used their paint before. Anyone? Not feeling daring, so it would have to be a relatively soft grey...

We have their paint in our hallway. The chalk paints are lovely but they are thick so you will probably need more than expected. Ours is gorgeous- we used pale

Sorry my daughter pressed send! We used Twine (not pale twine) it’s more a Beige than a grey but it’s very soft and everyone comments on how warm it is.

I always get farrow and ball colours colour-matched and mixed by valspar at b&q - its about half the price and fantastic hardwearing paint. Id recommend cornforth white and lamp room grey. Skimming stone is more of a beigy grey but nice and warm too.

Thanks Shadow and Chuck, I'm looking for inspiration and Laura Ashley came onto my radar because they currently have a sale on.

Most of my house is decorated in Laura Ashley Blush

I have pale twine in the lounge. It a lovely soft colour.

I have dove grey in one of the bedrooms it’s lovely.

And eau de nil in the kitchen.

The kids have the Laura Ashley kids paint and it’s almost indestructible.

It’s lovely to paint with, and I always buy in the sale (normally 50% off plus and extra 10%) however it’s worth the money in my opinion. And I always get an extra can...just because I underestimate how much we will need.
