What’s your dinner party nightmare?

Do you have a dish you dread being served? That you would really struggle to force down out of politeness? (Not stuff that you are allergic to or don’t eat for dietary reasons.)
For me goats cheese and lamb. I’m not a fussy eater but both make me reach.

Forgot about bread n butter pudding. I will never eat that!!

Any egg dish or offal in any form. I can tolerate most things but I would struggle to eat the above.

I don't like pulses but I could manage to eat some beans etc.

Actually my worst scenario was I had a dinner party planned and every one arrived as schedule except my dh, who turned up at the dessert course.

Coleslaw and no booze Sad

Mind you, I was once served something with aubergines and rancid pine nuts which was pretty bad. I was pg so not even any booze to compensate.

Blue cheese, or Pavlova.
Black olives would be surreptitiously picked out too.

One where a fuss was made if anyone didn’t like the food served and quietly just didn’t eat it. I’m a human dustbin and will eat most things but find it the height of bad manners when people draw attention to someone who hasn’t liked what was served and has just, without fuss or bellowing, not eaten it.
