How did you find losing a parent affected the rest of your relationships with family?

I don't feel close to anyone anymore and I feel like I've lost my family not just the one that died.
I thought death drew people together but I've never felt so alone.

Im sorry you feel like this. I have no advice but I feel the exact same way. In fact, I could have written your post.

It's almost as if all relationships were dependent on the one we have lost and now there's nothing there.

Very hard. I dont belong anywhere. I dont have a partner/husband either so it feels even more apparent that I dont belong anywhere. Its weird and strange and horrible.
