Prompted by a couple of other threads about other nationalities daring to go to the same hotels as the British.
There was a programme about 15 years ago, which secretly filmed parties of British, German, US and Japanese tourists on holiday.
They let situations play out (like putting them in a bar with no barman to see what they would do).
I can remember being blown away by how lovely the Japanese were, polite and friendly and very law-abiding. Well worth a watch if it's available anywhere. {goes off to Google it}
