What's for dinner today (and what have you eaten the rest of the day?)

I feel that we've eaten rubbish all weekend (quite relaxed about it though) Trying to get back onto some kind of track today.

Breakfast - Scrambled eggs, potato cake, mushrooms and grilled tomato.
Lunch - Tom yum soup (over from a take out we had last night)

Dinner- Anchovies, hummus, salad, halloumi, pitta bread, falafel.

Having eaten junk like it was going out of fashion yesterday plus going out for evening meal, and it being my birthday tomorrow and planning almond and chocolate croissants for breakfast and going out for a meal in the evening, plus then taking cakes into work on Tuesday then going to my parents for tea and birthday cake I thought I'd fit in a very low calorie day today (I'm 5:2-ing).

I've had vegetable soup and a piece of bread with a smidge of lurpak and am just about to have roasted peppers, tomatoes and onions with sweet chilli chicken, plus a couple of roasted potato wedges as I've made some for DP. I wouldn't normally have the bread or the potatoes so that's taken it up to 600 calories and I'll skip the strawberries and raspberries I'd normally have.

Lunch 2 banana
Dinner 2 slices medium thin crust pizza and 4 glasses champagne

Breakfast: toasted bagel with peanut butter

Lunch/dinner: pork souvlaki, Pitta bread, onion and parsley salad with Greek yoghurt, lemon and humous.

Currently eating a cream slice from m and s.

Breakfast was smooth p/nut butter on toast x2, lunch was a crusty roll with ham and wholegrain mustard and we've just had chicken fajitas for dinner 😃

I am currently eating my dinner of fish fingers, potato waffles and baked beans (it's not pay day yet and we don't have much else in). DC have gone to their grandparents and DH will eat later so just me eating.
I worked a night shift last night, so have been asleep most of the day. Ate a slice of toast when I got in at about 9.30am. Also ate a pack of crisps between 4 and 6am because there wasn't time for a proper break.

DP made blueberry pancakes for breakfast, which we all had with fresh fruit and maple syrup.
Lunch was an egg mayo roll and some lemon cake.
'dinner' was a bowl of cereal and were now in KFC.

My waters went at 1.30pm so now I'm trying to get labour started by walking around the car park Grin

Dinner - pasta and meatballs with a Lloyd Grossman sauce.
Lunch - sausage soup with alphabetti spaghetti and homemade bread.
All thanks to my mum who we are -massively imposing on- visiting today.

Breakfast was porridge with oat milk, quinoa, chia and linseed and an apple.

Lunch was a roast veg multi seed wrap and a banana.

Dinner is green salad, poached eggs and falafel.

Might have a yoghurt and berries later.

Lunch was a bacon, onion & red pepper omelette with toast
Dinner was roast lamb, mash, roast potatoes, beans, carrots & mint sauce

Mid-afternoon we had sandwich cake (savoury 'cake' made out of bread and sandwich fillings) and cream cake to celebrate MIL's husband's birthday

Spanish omelette from Lidl for dinner because too knackered to cook

Now cheese and onion kettle crisps while I watch the ice hockey

Lunch was some chicken, hummus and salad
Dinner Macdonalds delivery. I'll have fries, a hamburger and maybe a few nuggets

To be fair my cooker did break today. I decided to clean behind it and dopey OH pulled it out by the handle of the grill and the glass of grill / top oven has smashed, rendering the whole thing unusable.

Strange day as we have been out to an event that had food vans.

Breakfast: Banana pancakes and syrup, cup of tea, glass of apple juice

Lunch: BBQ organic sausage and free-range lamb, wholemeal roll, salad made of cabbage, radish, sage and bulgur wheat.

mid-afternoon: pancake with raspberry jam and sugar.

Dinner: roast pork fillet, corn on the cob, creamed leeks in cheese sauce, Uncle Ben's vegetable rice (cobbled together from raiding the cupboards, freezer and fridge)
Dessert: homemade scone with cream and jam

Carbonara for dinner shortly, some wine and crisps in the last hour. Brunch/lunch was scrambled eggs on toast with tomatoes and avos.

breakfast was cinammon bagel and butter
lunch was two small cheese and courgette fritters
dinner was spiced creamed spinach with cauliflower rice.

supposed to be low carbing but breakfast was a slip up

Breakfast - Toast with peanut butter and 2 coffees.

Lunch - steak fajitas

Dinner - meant to be having homemade pizza (I’m still stuffed from lunch though)

Snacks - none today, which is an absolute first. 2 cups of tea.

Later we plan to watch a film so I’ve bought popcorn and some chocolate.

  • Shirley Temple cocktails
  • charcuterie plate with olives and cornichons
  • Chicken caprese with pesto
  • penne a la vodka
  • steamed kale salad
  • French apple cake (bought from local french patisserie)

B- scrambled eggs on seeded toast

L- itsu noodle pot

S- many party rings and chocolate fingers at a 1st birthday tea party

D- roast chicken, roast potatoes, stuffing, yorkshires, veg and gravy

And probably some toast or something later. I'm a bottomless pit at the moment.
