Holiday accommodation in Munich

I wasn't expecting it to be soooo expensive! Can anyone suggest any hotels/ apartments for a family of 5. We'll be going in August for 10 days.

Can’t really help, going for a couple days in July but it does seem really expensive (we have mostly holidayed in Switzerland recently), glad I am not alone!
