History is that I had a kidney infection for a few weeks (which resulted in chronic mild nausea for several weeks for which I took stemetil (anti-nausea drug which does this via affecting a region in the brain) so not sure if it's related but couldn't see loss of sense of smell in the side effects listed for the medication.
Thankfully, the nausea etc has resolved 2 weeks ago but I still have very low sense of smell (I don't know if it started with the kidney infection or only after I started taking the anti-nausea medication) but not sure what could be the reason nor how to regain the sense of smell...
It's not polyps, nasal congestion etc.
