Best rockpooling beaches in Cornwall near Fowey??

Hello, we’re in Cornwall this week and i’d like to pick your brains about the best beaches local to us, especially ones with rock pools! Any advice welcome. Thank you!

There aren't really many nice ones down this end. I live in Fowey and if we want to go to a nice beach we have to drive to Perranporth, Padstow or Polzeath usually.

Polkerris is not so bad actually, it is small though and will be busy. Im not sure Meva has a beach? I don't know, I dont go there. Crinnis beach has a really nice yurt that you can buy cider and really good from and the beach is big. However, the sand is not nice there.

We were in that area recently. Charlestown only had A tiny beach but good rocks and rock pools at low tide. We also loved Porthluney beach.

Talland Bay or West Looe
Lots of rock pools and not too far from Fowey

Polridmouth cove had some wonderful rock pools when we went there a good few years ago. Not a full on sandy beach but the children loved it.

V disappointed by Mevagissey! Not nearly as pretty as I had expected.

Polkerris was good. Did stand up paddle boarding there - recommend the company. Great instruction.
