Holiday with baby

Hello,

We have a 2 months old baby and are considering going away with him towards September. So she will be around 6 months old.

We won't have much to spend due to my maternity pay but it would be nice to get away for a few days. Before the baby, DH and I often travelled on the cheap, air bnb, hostels etc.

Ideally I'd like to drove somewhere. We are in surrey, so I think maybe staying in the UK?
We found mid week breaks at centre parks. I know the baby will be small but he likes swimming so I thought an indoor pool would be nice. And we could do some walks.

But is it a bit of a waste for us to go to CP now? Has anyone been with such a small baby? Or does anyone have other suggestions we could do on the cheap but that would have some stuff for us to do?

Thank you!

It’s a baby. So portable. This is the easy stage. Pick a cheap break wherever you please - even abroad! As long as you take something for them to sleep in - ie a go flat buggy. You just travel. The toddler years are the restricting years if you have a wilful one.

We did CP on a mid week break when DS was 6m old, the pool is really warm and all the restaurants have free baby food and highchairs so was very easy.

We also did a trip to benalmadena on the Costa del Sol, great with a pushchair as the promenade is flat so could walk for miles.

I'd choose what you fancy and then work around that. Do you want to go abroad, sightsee, do an activity?
