Isn't it a beautiful pic?

Sorry, on mob, crap at links, but, she looks exhausted but beautiful.

What an amazing picture...not made up for the camera, not posed, just an exhausted beautiful mum with her baby.

Congratulations to the family

It was a lovely natural real picture.

IfOnlyOurEyesSawSouls · 24/05/2019 23:39

Yes I thought the same. Very refreshing to see.

SouthernComforts · 24/05/2019 23:40

I really like Stacey Solomon, she seems very nice and genuine.

Simonfromharlow · 24/05/2019 23:42

I saw her in Romford Essex once. She was in asda doing her shop and had time
For all the people wanting pics etc. She was lovely! I really like her.

OhioOhioOhio · 24/05/2019 23:44

What pic?

DramaRamaLlama · 24/05/2019 23:47

Yes loved it and the ones published later of her sons meeting the baby. Beautiful.

Mac47 · 24/05/2019 23:56

She was very lovely on the occasions I have met her and the photo was beautiful.

WorraLiberty · 25/05/2019 00:02

I agree some of the photos were beautiful.

I'm not sure about this one though, although obviously it's up to her what she wants to do with her own images.

OhioOhioOhio · 25/05/2019 00:02

Yes. Beautiful.

gluteustothemaximus · 25/05/2019 00:04

Lovely girl. Lovely real photos. Power of good that does for other women.

Whitegrenache · 25/05/2019 00:05

She looks amazing - true depiction of the trauma of birth along with the beauty and selfishness of motherhood

TurnOffTheTv · 25/05/2019 00:09

I think after the pictures of her smoking through her last pregnancy are grim.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 25/05/2019 00:11

I love Stacey Solomon and how very real she is. She happily shares pictures of her hairy belly and stretch marks (from before this pregnancy) etc. It isn’t a surprise in the slightest that they shared these photos too. They are beautiful and real and I think Stacey does so much for body positivity when she posts photos as she does. Hope all is well with her and baby. I know he came earlier than expected.

I know but that natural photo of her in her living room watching acinema size telly and both her boys sat in the living room playing on therir own massive tellies really put me off her. The kids tvs were twice the size of mine. Why do you need three screens in a room?

mightskys · 25/05/2019 01:05

Even after giving birth she looks better than me on a good day!

Bless her though, she looks totally knackered.

shazkiwi · 25/05/2019 01:16

"I know but that natural photo of her in her living room watching acinema size telly and both her boys sat in the living room playing on therir own massive tellies really put me off her."

I felt like that too for a split second. Then I realised I was sat on a computer - mumsnet (screen 1), my OH was watching TV (screen 2) and DD1 was on her phone (screen 3). DD2 was colouring in - giving myself Brownie Points here. We aren't into gaming but from what I understand the bigger the screen the better.

I loved the birth photo & Im also quite envious of the bean bags at home as well - they look so comfy.

Mumsymumphy · 25/05/2019 01:42

Yes it's a lovely, natural photo which perfectly captures the sheer exhaustion and beauty of child birth.

I'm very jealous as my 'straight after birth' photos are horrific: for my 1st I was 18, looked scared to death (what? people trusted me to look after this real live tiny human being?!) had a black imprinted ring around my mouth and nose from where I'd held the old fashioned gas & air mask so tight . I couldn't smile as the force of my pushing had caused my crown at the front to fall out so I had a massive gap at the front whenever I spoke or smiled!

Then 13 years later a photo with my DC2 after a very traumatic birth I was bloated, traumatised holding my DC whilst smiling/grimacing.

Then my 3rd DC photo after a csection I was stoned out of my head on whatever brilliant painkillers they gave me and 4 and a half stone overweight. I really envy mums with lovely after-birth photos - I don't have one!

Seahorseshoe · 25/05/2019 02:02

I actually look like Meatloaf on my after birth photos - only on them. Whyyyyy?

It's a beautiful photo, so natural.

DaisyAWhoops · 25/05/2019 08:05

I don't have an after birth photo as I was rushed out to theatre. I'm a bit jealous of her but think she looks amazing! I wouldn't have looked anywhere near that good!

luckylavender · 25/05/2019 08:42

I don't know, I think it's too much. Why do people feel the need to share so much? No need.

hopeishere · 25/05/2019 08:54

I feel it's contrived to look natural if you know what I mean? She purposely took that sort of pic and released it so she she would get this sort of reaction.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 25/05/2019 09:19

I burst all the blood vessels in my eyes with my first childbirth Grin I looked like an extra in a zombie movie. Took 3 weeks before I stopped scaring small children.

motherheroic · 25/05/2019 09:20

@EachandEveryone Maybe because she doesn't want the TV in their bedroom and they want to play seperate games.

Most of us have three screens in a room anyway. It's usually a combination of TV, laptop/pc, phones or tablets.

redspider1 · 25/05/2019 09:36

I think she is great. Yes she shares a lot but she is in the public eye and uses her image in a really positive way for women. I think she's an intelligent, brave young woman and we always need more of those. she really impressed me when she was in the jungle and have always had time for her since.Congratulations to them both.
