Are there normally irons in static caravans?

We're off to Cornwall tomorrow for a family holiday. I've never stayed at a caravan park before and I'm just wondering, is it likely there will be an iron/ ironing board?

I can't find an answer online and I'm getting voicemail when I call the caravan park.

I know we have to bring our own towels, toilet roll etc but can't see anything about ironing facilities.

Any advice much appreciated. Thanks.

I would say unlikely

why would you want to iron ever on holiday?

no caravan I've ever stayed in had an iron, some had a communal one in the shower block.

It varies - the one we stayed at in Febuary did but the one we stayed at in April didn't.

We stayed in one recently that did have one but it was fancier than others we have stayed in that didn't (it was hoeseasons if that makes a difference!)

I don’t iron at home so certainly wouldn’t do it on holiday, is it really so important?

Sometimes caravans are owned privately, so even on the same park it would depend entireley on the owner. I wouldn't have thought there was one if it was park owned, but there may be one in a communal laundry room, but if it's owned privately, they may have put one in the caravan.

But I agree with the others, why on earth would you need to iron on holiday, or at all for 99% of clothing.

BarbaraofSevillle is right, it will depend on owns the caravan.

Also, why would you iron anyway????? Tghe have wardrobes so if you are worried about creased clothes hang them up as soon as you get in.

Hmmmbop · 25/05/2019 07:28

The one I'm currently staying in doesn't

I lay all the clothes flat on top of the suitcases full of pyjamas etc, still on the hangers, that way they don't need ironed when we get there. Wardrobe to car, car to wardrobe.
