With a whoooooole long weekend to yourself?

I'm child and husband-free until Monday evening; they're off on a fun excursion without me.

I had planned a very worthy schedule of tidying and nesting and taking stuff to the dump and buying things from Ikea, but the car is in the garage and I've got brutal SPD and so the field is wide open.

I'm crap at 'self care' and really don't want to lose the whole weekend in useless faffing and mindless scrolling...

Inspire me?

I would go food shopping and get in some delicious treats for yourself for the weekend - some good food, decent wine and maybe also a face mask and some posh bath oils and then have a cosy night in watching Netflix followed by a long soak in the bath. That’s one evening!

OMG, I'd love that! Magazines, yummy food, Netflix, long baths! Sounds blissful!

I'd read a couple of books in the peace and quiet 🙂.

If weather is good either go for a walk or NT place where I could actually take time to go through house instead of being rushed.

Have a lay in one day then leisurely do chores.

See a film , go swimming , late morning start , back to bed tea toast and a magazine . Pub lunch with a friend
Enjoy

Thank you all! You've inspired me, I've decided I'm going for an early morning walk / shuffle on the beach tomorrow; then doing a fun house project with a friend over lunch. Then reading. Omg reading. Remember reading?
