What would be a great show to take my niece for her 9th birthday?

Just that, really. Birthday is in July so would like to take her during the summer holidays. They live just outside London so West End is an easy distance.

What have your 9 year-olds loved? My niece loves The Greatest Showman and Strictly Come Dancing - the more sparkles the better!

Matilda and Horrible Histories went down very well with my 9 year old niece. x

Aladdin is great - as is Matilda, but Aladdin has more sparkles!

My 9 year old has loved Matilda, Aladdin and Wicked.

Joseph starts in June, that may be a good choice.

I recently saw Wicked (very good) and School of rock (enjoyable and cheaper than most shows). Matilda is still my favourite!

Brilliant, thanks. I was thinking of Wicked - just wanted to hear it was suitable. I'm now tempted by Joseph, though. That one way my favourite when I was a young'un.

My dd loved Wicked and School of Rock was absolutely fantastic too.

My 8 yo preferred Matilda to Wicked.

School of Rock is amazing!

Aladdin, get the slip seats if you can they say the view is obstructed but it really isn’t and the tickets are much cheaper. THE Seats are movable, loads of leg space and are at the same height as the magic carpet when it rises.
