I love my blingy, tacky, non-traditional diamond wedding ring. They were a set and are platinum so I don't need them to be re-plated.

White gold with diamonds

Wow these are all beautiful and so many different tastes! I think I'm verging towards an eternity band style as I love a bit of sparkle, but also interested to see any with different precious stones instead of just diamond? I love the more vintagy ones too!

As plain as plain could be 😊. I wear mother's wedding ring on my right hand, same finger. Identical.

I have to wear them separately as hers was 22 carat, mine is 18. They would wear each other out.

I designed mine myself it's basically 3 bands as one

Mines tacky as fuck. Wedding ring is full eternity, the bottom band.

Mine is plain D-shaped platinum.

I wear plain DGM's reddish gold ring on another finger.

I take it those of you with sparkly wedding rings are being sarcastic when you refer to them as being tacky? There are some gorgeous sparklers there and I’m a bit envious as they weren’t really such a thing when I got married, which is partly what’s coming into me wanting my rings remodelled eventually

This is mine, it's very dainty which works well as my engagement ring was passed down to me and is a fairly large (not huge but not enough!) and the curve fits around my engagement ring perfectly.

Mine curves around my engagement ring and has small diamonds in which some pps said it shouldn’t do.

I didn’t live with my DH until we were married though so wondering if my choice trumps their’s in what ‘should’ be done according to old rules made by other people?

I have my grandmother ‘s ring. I don’t wear it often as their marriage ended in divorce in the 1930’s, and I am superstitious.

A previous poster had the opinion that wedding bands with diamonds were "tacky", hence so many people who do have diamond wedding bands referring to them as such.

My Wedding ring is plain palladium as my engagement ring is platinum. I don’t ever wear white gold as it needs re-plated. Palladium is 1 shade away from platinum and almost the same hardness.

My wedding ring is a plain silver band. I still love my engagement ring even though it is many many years old.
