Fasting blood test ..coming back abnormal due to dehydration?

Just wondering really if all fasting blood tests show up the markers for dehydration.

Could an 8 hour fast show this .
It is for ds16 .
2 test have shown the same abnormal results

Sorry should say he is always wanting juice /squash whatever.
Diabetes and glucose test have been done.
Doctor ringing me later .
Just wanted to know what to ask for next.

No ..heamoglobin levels .

HCT and elevated

Could be higher if dehydrated. Depends on the full picture really. Your GP may suggest repeating on non-fasting bloods.

Mine frequently but not always are. No big deal as in my case they are looking at other things so I end up having a repeat test.
