Which holiday would you choose?

Just in the planning stages for a trip for next Easter. Previous holidays have all been to luxury type self catering houses in different areas of Scotland, which have been great, but fancy a change.
DC are 11,8 and 1. We have never taken them abroad before, so thinking either the canaries to an all inclusive hotel.
Or
City break to London, doing the Harry Potter studios, Shrek adventure, Legoland (I know it gets poor reviews, but DS2 is Lego obsessed!) and as many other tourist attractions as we can fit in!
Price wise they both look around the same, so what did/would your DC have preferred?
Thanks!

I never thought I'd vote for an AI holiday til I had kids but the sheer luxury of not shopping, cooking, washing up etc has hugely changed my thinking and now I love them. Zafiro is really good and the food definitely isn't pie and chips. I actually come back rested. I can't imagine London with a 1 yo would be much fun at all and like pp say Legoland is outside Windsor so not actually really close to London at all. Probably a two hour journey, plus horrendous queues and people.... Load of people (I hate legoland).

I'd get family merlin passes for a year so you could do London eye, shreks adventure, sea life madam tussauds, london dungeon , legoland, Chessington world of adventures and Thorpe park all in the London area. If you pay a bit extra and get premium passes you go down the fast track queues at the likes if the London eye - great with a little one in tow.

Then you could do mini breaks to Alton towers and maybe treck across to Warwick castle

Manchester for sea life and mini legoland, Blackpool for the tower, circus, sealife, madam tussauds.

There are other sealifes etc included.

London sounds like a nightmare, I live here and Dd has been taken for sightseeing since she is born but your 1 year old won’t be doing a lot apart from sitting in the buggy.

I would go for the aboard idea. Not the biggest fan of the Canaries but that would be the most sunsecure location short haul.

Could you or your DH take the older ones to London at a different time alon and do some of the things you mentioned?

Canaries AI. Relaxing at the pool will suit all ages and AI means you dont have to worry about budget.
I would buy an inflatable boat for 1 year old, sit it beside your sun lounger under umbrella with some water in it for splashing , my 18 month old loved it.
