Hello!
Quick advice on graphic design programs please!
I used to work in marketing (small company that hated paying for things) and I made do/taught myself to use Gimp (free software along illustrator lines).
When my new manager came in, she fought to get adobe and refused to work until we had it.. needless to say we got it!
Now, i had done a course in Adobe with the old manager (pay for me to learn it but would pay to let me use it... go figure 
) and transitioned smoothly across......
3 years down the line and I have lost all adobe skills and just cant get back into it at all!
I love the interworking between InDesign and Illustrator, but just cannot get my head around Illustrator anymore..
If i go back to Gimp, do you think there is a like for like similar option to InDesign out there?
Any advice appreciated from all..
