Pie?

Not really a TAAT, but someone was asking about cottage pie.

What's the difference between cottage pie and shepherds pie?

Mine has mince, onion, peas, carrot and swede and then potato on the top, always all eaten up (apart from me, can't stand mince but have learned to cook it) with no leftovers, so I must be making it right

So which is it?

Cottage is beef, shepherds is lamb.

Great! Seems I'm making cottage pie then. No one here really likes lamb.

Like the idea of Shepheresses pie, might have to experiment!
