Get the water in the can like a spritzer.Lip balm.Hand cream.
Black knickers, breast pads. And a really fluffy towel.I found my skin so sore after birth. Also a hand held fan.You wil need it.

Snacks for your partner

(hungry, bitter voice of experience Grin)

I would also add take your own pillow from home (but not in a white pillowcase - a coloured/patterned one so it is clearly yours). The hospital ones are not comfy but flat and hard. Also a book or some magazines for the next day. I was bored out of my tiny little mind waiting to be discharged the following day with nothing to do between feeding etc.

Water in a can.
Energy drinks.
Comfy pyjamas.

Oh my God you've made me so broody!

SockQueen · 23/05/2019 22:17

There are literally hundreds of these lists a short Google away...
