My dishwasher is loolah!

I swear to god I think my dishwashers gone nuts. Waiting for it to finish as I want the strainer for the pasta.
Decided to go out for a cigarette. Dishwasher said 40 min. Came back in and it said 16 min. No way on earth the fag took that long.
Obviously it's a yay if itl be finished quicker than I expected but I am suspicious and don't trust the thing now. Will it suddenly take longer than the 16 min it says. Will the items be clean etc etc.
Appliances are evil 👿

I have a Siemens dishwasher that suspiciously loses 30 minutes when I'm not looking. It seems to clean OK, though.

My Samsung tumble dryer is the same. It's 1 minutes can literally last 10-15 minutes.

It's a Kenwood I believe. In bed and too lazy to go check! It seemed clean thankfully but I still don't trust it. My washing machine and dryer are similar evil beasts.
