YANBU! Why just why?....

AlwaysCheddar · 23/05/2019 18:29

It’s a chocolate truffle so who cares. Had it been the M&S Best Ever Trifle then all hell would have broken loose!

SummerHouse · 23/05/2019 18:32

Who did this?! I demand that they get their just desserts

Teddybear45 · 23/05/2019 18:33

Who eats chocolate trifle Envy

Graphista · 23/05/2019 18:33

Shock what a mess!

Examples of the complete lack of common sense like this are way to prevalent now.

BickBock · 23/05/2019 18:37

Chocolate trifle is amazing! Displayed like that is just abominable!

DontCallMeShitley · 23/05/2019 18:39

You mean palm oil trifle I think.

toomuchfaster · 23/05/2019 18:40

This saddened me in Coop earlier when someone had done the same to the treacle tarts and the Bakewell tarts.

Wildorchidz · 23/05/2019 18:41

🤮

lrh3891 · 23/05/2019 18:51

@SummerHouse 👏👏👏

WatchingYou · 23/05/2019 18:53

Nope it defo says Chocolate Trifle 🤔

SilverySurfer · 23/05/2019 18:55

I wouldn't care since its Cadburys so full of palm oil and inedible.

Bluetrews25 · 23/05/2019 18:56

They'll just have to sell it to you half price, yes?
It's going to get mushed up on chewing, anyway, you might just be able to stomach it....be brave....

SneakyGremlins · 23/05/2019 19:02

I'll buy it for 10% of the price Grin

They did this to the buttercream layer cakes in spar the other day. Squished cake, buttercream stuck to cellophane window. Was a right shitshow.

ArseholesOnToast · 23/05/2019 19:14

I’ve seen them do this to lasagne too.

Duffmcstockings · 23/05/2019 20:12

Whoever did it should be taken into custard. Grin

Duffmcstockings · 23/05/2019 20:13

Custardy. Thanks autocorrect. I got my just desserts.

ThinkWittyThoughts · 23/05/2019 20:23

Brava @SummerHouse !

I salute you Grin

Mississippilessly · 23/05/2019 20:40

I know of someone who got sacked from M&S for attempting to ruin food so it couldn't be sold- maybe this was a similar ruse?

SneakyGremlins · 23/05/2019 20:51

Sacked? Shock

OP posts:
Mississippilessly · 23/05/2019 21:00

Yes! He used to 'drop' stuff so it either couldn't be sold or was sold heavily discounted and then he would buy it!

SneakyGremlins · 23/05/2019 21:02

That's almost genius Grin

Still wrong though.

Mississippilessly · 23/05/2019 21:11

When they introduced reducing stuff staff also used to go round and hide stuff so customers couldnt find it. At the end of the day it was then heavily reduced for staff.

I know this because DH used to do the late shift at an M&S. We were penniless students but often used to have parmentier potatoes and salmon steaks for dinner which had cost about a pound. We used to have the bakery chocolate cookies for breakfast - bag of 5 for 10p. Grin

BogglesGoggles · 23/05/2019 21:13

I don’t think it’s possible to make trifle even worse than it already is by mixing up the layers a tiny bit.
