I have these in the brown/teracotta colour in a 14 but have lost weight and am desperately seeking them in a 12. They're out of stock online so hoping desperately that someone can help me in getting a 12. I would cover all postage costs etc of course!!!

Just put some small darts in the waistband. You can hand sew them if you don’t have a machine. I often do this when the waist comes up big on trousers.

TheWristBoundLatexBitch · 23/05/2019 17:38

Have you tried Argos? They stock tu clothes too.

OddestSock · 23/05/2019 17:39

It's showing 1 available in terracotta in a 12 here

(online that is)

MrsWidgerysLodger · 23/05/2019 17:40

Tried Argos, also out of stock.
Darts wouldn't work as they're now too big on hips and bum as well. :( Was hoping someone would have a pair in their local Sainsbury's and I could ask them to grab them for me as I've done similar for other mumsnetters... Fingers crossed!

Oddest - they have a black pair in 12 but not brown online unfortunately :(

Fireman I can't click your link...

The link works for me, sorry.

This is a screenshot of the main bit.

It’s so easy to put darts in. Very quick to do.

You could also take in the bum seam, another easy thing to do.

NoBaggyPants · 23/05/2019 17:58

Darts don't work if the trousers as a whole are too big. MrsWidg has said that's the case.

You might find a seamstress that can take them in properly, perhaps see if you can get a recommendation on a local Facebook group. Mine does it for £7 as she just does it for a hobby.

MrsWidgerysLodger · 23/05/2019 17:59

Fireman - think that might be beyond my capabilities! Thanks so much for trying to help though. Really appreciate it.

I wish I could help you! I could do it in less than half an hour.

Maybe ask on your local Facebook group or on nextdoor.co.uk if you haven’t joined already and someone might alter them for you very cheaply or for free!

You can gift them or pay them.
Or a friend or relative that sews.

MrsWidgerysLodger · 23/05/2019 18:29

Thanks for the link fireman. Still hoping that the 12s will magically arrive in stock somehow 😂😂

Is it worth phoning round any of the ones in your area to see if they’ve got them in store?

Or if your store can see what other stores have and get them sent to them?

ShmooBooMoo · 23/05/2019 19:06

Mailed you.

MrsWidgerysLodger · 23/05/2019 19:19

Replied thank you Shmoobomoo. :)

I did ask fireman but they won't transfer between stores and can't guarantee that stock levels would be accurate on sale items.

Still on the hunt if anyone can help?!?
