norethisterone or pill for period delay

Just my luck. My stupid period is due the one week I am on holiday !! It is in the summer so I have a bit of time to plan.
Does anyone know if norethisterone still causes bloating ? Or shall I go on the pill and take it back to back. I'm knocking on late forties , currently on no contraception.thanks

I've never found it to cause bloating, but back to back pills always worked better for me, but as a one off, the norethisterone is probably easier
