So my husband left me 6 weeks ago. I'm finding life very different and very lonely now! Thought I'd try and make a place where people going through the same thing can chat about the trials and tribulations of this situation!

Hi, just thought I'd join in & say hi

6 weeks in is still so raw, it's been almost a year for me now & it really does get easier over time, you find your new normal. I do sometimes enjoy my alone time now (once I've wrestled the toddler off to bed)

Netflix has been my friend & I've been trying to pick up some new hobbies like sewing to distract me a bit.

Do you have much family/friends support?

I have been there too and although I’m very contented now with new DP, I vividly recall the grim early stages of sorrow and headfuckery. Sending you good thoughts. It gets better, really truly

Yes I have great support from family and friends but obviously they can't be there all the time! I've found mumsnet very supportive on another thread I posted a few weeks ago!

It's very raw like you say and finding it difficult to adjust to my whole life being thrown up in the air!

I think I've watched everything on Netflix so far haha
