Seeing as it's BPD awareness month...any other MNers out there who are also diagnosed?

I got diagnosed 12 years ago and it's improved since then. Slightly. Bouts of PND have worsened it again but on the whole I've got so much better at dealing with it the older I've got.

However I'm starting to see signs of it in DD1 (15) now...things that I can see back in 15 year old me. The thought of having her (potentially) suffer with this as well is horrible. The thought of anyone else having to is horrible. My life would be so different without it.

Sending hugs to any of you who feel the same Flowers

Yes, I was diagnosed officially about three years ago, but have a history of mental illness and misdiagnosis. I always knew deep down it was bpd but for various reasons was too scared to suggest it!
I go in waves of it getting better and worsening. Though it is a lot better than when I was younger.

Hugs to you OP and anyone who joins us here!
