Mum's cancer has spread

My mum was diagnosed with bladder cancer last almost a year ago. I won't go into the whole story but she's been let down every step of the way, from her GP to her current urologist. She's had an attempted then abandoned surgery, bilateral nephrostomies, chemo, radiotherapy, MRSA, sepsis, a PIC line fitted which caused an infection, numerous other infections and then a little hope, she was feeling a bit brighter, we thought perhaps the treatment had worked. Her urologist then called her at 7pm at night, when she was all alone to tell her that there are lesions on her lungs. I am disgusted with him, I'm completely heartbroken and I simply can't watch my mum die the same way my dad died.

Sorry OP. I know how difficult it is to watch someone you love suffer because of mismanaged medical care and can only imagine what it's like to have the mismanagement possibly lead to more serious consequences. You must be in a rage right now at the unfairness of everything. No advice, just empathy.
