Adaptor help please. Will this work in the US?

Yes. It's a 3 way adapter so can be changed for us, Europe and Australia

it will plug in, but it won't change 110 volts into 250.

Your phone will charge just fine, might be a bit slower is all. Your charger should say it supports 110-240 volts and 50-60 Hz.
