Best breakfast near Guys Hospital?

I have about an hour to kill before a scan at Guy’s hospital this morning and fancy having a really nice breakfast. Either fry up or hipster and healthy or mad American pancakes: I’m not fussed as long as it’s good and has reasonably comfy seats.

There must be some London medics (or just Borough workers) who can advise plz.

How near is 'near'?

I'd go for a riverside walk, anding up at the Coppa Club (for eggs benedict then berries). it's on the northern riverbank, near the Tower

Oh no! sorry, that was a bit of a dud recommendation then!

Never mind. In the end I went to Rabot 1745 and had a sophisticated (if not large) vegetarian thing and a huge posh hot chocolate. Too expensive for everyday but a nice treat to make up for mammogram hell.

Nothing serious, but having boobs squished and poked with needles if nobody’s idea of fun: it’s on a par with a trip to the dentist, so hot chocolate definitely earned.
