How to cool down?!

Help! I take meds' once a week that give me a fever but not usually this bad (it varies week to week)
I've had paracetamol and trying to decide between warm or cool shower? I'm dripping with sweat and need to get ready for work and it's grim

Sitting with feet in a cold basin / bath is about the only thing that cools me down reliably.

Yes to putting your inner wrists under cold running water.

Get a tea towel and wet under the cold water tap. Wrong out and place around the back of your neck, ends to the front.

Also, Magicool spray is fantastic.

It's awful isn't it? I struggle to get ready for work in summer (just hot, no medication) and have to stand in front of a fan to put on my make up and dry my hair. I use a chill pillow to help me sleep at night.

Oh, I second magicool or the cheaper versions, I spray it on my face and feet when I'm hot.

I keep meaning to look at those cool pillows. It's hard because I sweat and head hurts but I also shiver and get bone aches which makes me want to be warm
I'm sat outside work with the AC on in my car!
