Camping recommendations within two hours of East Midlands

Can anyone recommend some awesome places for camping this bank holiday weekend within a couple of hours drive of the East Midlands please? We are keen to find somewhere new! DC are 9 and 11. We like being outdoors, zoos, farms, National Trust, theme parks so somewhere with things to do on site or in the local area. A pool and pub on site would be nice but not essential. Electric hook up is nt important either as its only two nights. Callow Top has been on my wish list for ages but it is fully booked.

Any recommendations would be appreciated! .

hello! I don't know that area, but there's a camping section on the travel part of the site. Maybe ask there

Hopleys in Worcestershire has all that - good facilities, pizza barn on site, plus it is a ten min walk into Bewdley which has a steam railway and a safari park.

have a look at haywood farm campsite. Its a 2 hour drive from you, it being located in Ross on Wye, and has a playground as well as games room. its also near a go ape, puzzlewood and perrygrove railway centre (where you ride a steam train to get round the park. there are tree houses with slides, an indoor village and play area). the nearest pub is the man of ross inn. all the best x

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. We went to Flamingo land in the end and it was freezing but the park was good fun and there was evening entertainment. I have put the above suggestions on our wishlist for this summer, if we get one!
