Looking for inspiration - things to do with 12 yo DD over half term

Just add the title says really. We've got a few day trips arranged, but she doesn't have much of a social life yet (meet ups with friends only happen if I arrange them). She's at a real in between stage; too old for much kiddie stuff, but not great at entertaining herself. So what is your 12 yo doing over half term???

I have an 11 year old DD so still in primary school, she is just starting to spend time with friends independently. We are camping bank holiday weekend then in the week she has a trip to the park planned with school friends independently but other than that we are going to the Monkey Forest in Staffordshire, Warwick Castle and Alton Towers (she is taking a friend to AT and I will let them go off alone with phones and scheduled meet up times). We are also staying with family for a couple of days in a different part of the country. I also have DS9 and am on my own with them over half term so need to plan things that suit them both.

What about trying to organise something with school friends semi supervised if she is nt confident about going out fully independently yet? I know in secondary its a bit harder to manipulate their social lives like in primary!

Is there anything at the cinema she would like to see? And you are ever too old for a zoo or safari park! My two also love escape rooms, they are great fun for adults as well. If you can say your approximate location I may have some better suggestions!

Depending on the weather we're going to Brightlingsea beach for crabbing and paddling, Maldon prom for the vintage fair, and we might do a BBQ.

My 12 yo DD has two sleepovers - one here with her BFF of 10 years, one a party with secondary school friends. Plus one day shopping as she's grown out of everything and perhaps a cinema trip. It's only a week.
