I say I have my second test tomorrow but it's actually my 3rd. I sat my first test 8 years ago though.

I failed a couple of weeks ago and now have to deal with the nerves & stress all over again 😩 I feel ready but it's just difficult knowing that it's such an easy test to fail.

Is anyone else going through this just now? I have my fingers and toes crossed that tomorrow will be my lucky day 🙏🏼

Thanks Annunaki ☺️* *

I'm feeling less nervous so far than I did the night before the last one. Hopefully that's a good thing? I've actually got a 2 hour lesson tomorrow before the test so there's time for a good drive around and a run through all the show me tell me's etc.

I've done 4x11 hour blocks with this instructor. That's on top of all the hours I had last time round. I just feel like this is hanging over my head until I get my pass (whenever that may be).

I hope it doesn't take too much longer for you. It's an expensive business, this learning to drive 😅

Good luck today. I passed on my second attempt. It took 8 years, 5 instructors and a huge number of lessons.

I have a good feeling about today for you. You will pass.

ThePittts · 22/05/2019 08:36

Wanted to wish you luck today, I failed first time, and a good friend gave me the tip of having the window slightly open to keep cool and calm.
Worked a treat passed second time...

moneyworries9 · 22/05/2019 09:18

Thanks so much for the supportive messages. I'll update you all afterwards. The test isn't until 3.30 so a while to wait. I hope today is my day 🙏🏼

What I found really useful was my lessons running up to my test were done in a test format driving a route that my test might take I.e. we drove to the invigilators office and set off from there after show me tells me. I passed with 2 minors (one was a stall and I was sure I'd failed!).

Good luck for today OP. I passed first time a few years ago after four months of lessons. A good instructor is worth their weight in gold, regular lessons at the same time each week really helped my confidence. Also having a couple of practice tests before the real thing.

Hope all goes well! Just remember to stop before the lines at a junction, go slowly (so if it’s a 30 zone just drive at 25, fuck drivers behind you) and don’t let anyone let you out! A friend of mine failed recently because a driver let him go when it was the other drivers right of way...

moneyworries9 · 22/05/2019 18:09

I PASSED 😃

3 minors! Doesn't seem real. I'm over the moon.

Thank you all.

Oh that’s terrible! Lucky no one got hurt! Will insurance pay out so you can buy a new one? Is it windy where you are? Just wondering how the heck the tree fell Shock
