DD slept through from 3 months. Now 8 months and she's waking me up for a feed 3 to 5 times a night! She's mix fed and on solids and we try to give her a decent bottle and meal a couple hours before bed, then breastfeed right before bed. Whyyy is this happening? Someone please tell me I'm doing something wrong so I can switch up and do it right, and get my sleepy baby back!!!

They usually have a sleep regression around 4 months old, sounds like your Dd is just having hers later. It’s normal, you’re not doing anything wrong.

Any sign of teeth? Mine always had/have worse sleep when there’s new teeth threatening or actually coming through. My 1 year old is currently waking up more at night, and his top molars just happen to be popping through.

She could also possibly be too warm, does she wear a few layers to sleep? Mine were always uncomfortable if they wore a vest under their night clothes, especially in late spring/summer.

It’s an extremely rare (maybe non-existent) baby who never has any sleep regressions - it won’t last forever but it’s a developmental thing and you can’t fix it, just muddle through it as best you can.

My boys had a sleep regression at 4 months and they didn’t sleep properly again until they were 14/15 months old. It was utter torture but we are all still here.

Aside from telling yourself it will pass and stocking up on caffeine, I’m not sure what to tell you! Sorry OP Flowers
