This might make your day… But I'm glad it wasn't in my pool.

I just saw this on Facebook from the Florida news…

mbosnz · 20/05/2019 18:26

Yoiks!!!! I don't think I'd be joining the pool party. . .

Hellokittymania · 20/05/2019 18:27

Oh my God! It was at an Airbnb…

“Attempts to verify Jacobs' account have been unsuccessful.”
LOL

myrtleWilson · 20/05/2019 18:34

Do gator's tails end like that, like snapped off or is it curled in on itself?

Hellokittymania · 20/05/2019 18:37

I don't know about the tail… I grew up in Florida, but I stay the heck away from gators. we used to live in a very rural area and the leak in the back of our house had quite a few…

That's brilliant!!

SunshineCake · 20/05/2019 18:43

Is it the same Jacob who rented out a shipping container as a three bed dwelling?

ReapersHowler · 20/05/2019 18:48

I'm fairly sure that's (bad) photoshop. The tail gives it away.

Hellokittymania · 20/05/2019 18:51

No, don't tell us that howler. That's probably one of the funniest news pieces I've read today…

Last year, I posted on here about a bear in my mothers back garden. True story… And the other day and an alligator was seen in front of a hair salon… so it could very well be true. Wildlife does tend to… Find its way into peoples homes. Snakes as well…

sittingonacornflake · 20/05/2019 18:56

@Hellokittymania I remember your bear post!

CakeNinja · 20/05/2019 19:00

My uncle (from Florida) has found an alligator in his pool twice! Terrifying Grin
Fake or not, that pic made me chuckle and be thankful possibly for the first time that we don’t have their climate!

BlueSkiesLies · 20/05/2019 19:01

Wouldn’t the inflatable have popped if a gator climbed on? What with the claws?

TinselAndKnickers · 20/05/2019 19:04

Isn't the tail just going into the water? Fake or not this made me smile Grin he looks pleased with himself

bliminy · 20/05/2019 19:06

I toured a private school in Orlando that had baby gators in a drainage pool on the grounds. When I asked if this was normal they just shrugged and said they move them elsewhere when they get too big.

TinselAndKnickers · 20/05/2019 19:10

Reminds me of this guy using a pool noodle to cross a river a while back Grin

This might make your day… But I'm glad it wasn't in my pool.
Hellokittymania · 20/05/2019 19:17

Corn flake, thankfully he wasn't around while I was visiting my mother last month… instead, we had a raccoon coming every day…

And, they have gone after inflatable boats, so they can do anything! Grin

Now this is scary! That was just a month ago… The week I went to Florida, there was an article about hungry and horny alligators… Now aren't all of you glad you don't live in Florida?? Grin

We had a song at Christmas that went to the melody of white Christmas, but the last line of it was something along the lines of we hope you don't have any alligators in your pool…
