Best sling for 4 month old big nosey baby

I used to wear a stretchy wrap sling for my baby when he was newborn but he seems to big for it now as it doesn't give enough support plus he doesn't like being in it anymore.

I have a carrier which I wear walking but I'd like another sling to wear him indoors when he's being clingy --all the time.

Can you wear them facing at an angle so baby could fall to sleep but also see the world when he's feeling inquisitive?

There's no sling library near me btw.

I have a big nosy baby who's slightly older than yours and stopped enjoying the stretchy sling early on.

We love the connecta/integra, it's a carrier not a sling but extremely light and comfy, easy to slip on and off, and not bulky like the Ergo/Tula carriers we have and use just for long walks.

We also have a Didy-tai - a mei tei in soft sling fabric - sort of a half-way house. It's comfy and cosy but more open than a sling and DS seems happier in it as he can move around more easily.

I think some places do postal hire if you can't get to a library. Otherwise we got ours second hand on ebay/facebook-

An in between type sling is just what I'm after, I want to be able to hip carry him as he's getting quite heavy and I'm only little, that way I can see his face but he can also see outward too.

Have you seen the ring sling? Not good for long periods of carrying as I found it put too much strain on my back. Due to weight being on one shoulder only. But easy to use, quick to put on and take off, can use for front, hip and back carry. Fab for 20 mins housework. Cheap too.

Any brand in particular @Preggosaurus9 ?

No brands really. I have one from Lenny Lamb. If you're on Facebook try the group "affordable baby slings for sale or swap". Lots of advice and photos of the slings in actual use. You can buy second hand from there too. My ring sling was £20. Just be sure to avoid scammers by requesting a goods and services Paypal invoice if buying second hand.
