UK holiday ideas with 3 and 5 year old?

I’ve left it to the last minute as usual, but really want to take the DC’s on a nice holiday over May half term.

They love swimming, so a good indoor pool would be nice. A holiday park type place with activities on site ideally... Caravan or lodge would be fine. Maybe south coast?

Does anyone have any recommendations? I’ve been looking for hours now and my head is starting to hurt!

Thank you!

Go on the main company sites and see what's available, it's last minute so may be bargains

Sea view is a haven site in Weymouth which is lovely.

I’d recommend the Isle if Wight. The ferry makes you feel you’ve gone somewhere and kids love it. Ventnor has nice beach and independent shops, Ryde has huge beach and calm waters and is a busier town. Yarmouth pretty but limited in terms of beach. Seaview very nice too. Basically your traditional bucket and spade holiday with a couple attractions (Blackgang Chine, Owl and Monkey Haven). Accommodation varied from self catering, BnBs, holiday parks and camping.

We loved Norfolk. Isle of Wight is lovely as well. We live close to Kent and it is a great area for children.

North Norfolk is amazing. Loads of nice beaches, farm parks, Dino adventure land is brilliant for wee ones. Highly recommend the area.

I loved Swanage growing up, Swanage Bay View caravan site is lovely, up a hill though so need to not mind walking! :-)
