Ok..I’ve never driven an automatic car before, always driven manual.
I’m getting a new car next year and it’s an automatic...how hard is it to learn?

I think by 2030 electric cars are meant to out number ice cars so yes automatics will be more popular, but right now taking the manual test is still needed really

I couldn't get on with lessons in a manual, persevered for years but just couldn't do it.

Switched to lessons in an auto, passed first time. (only have auto license now)

I love my little car!

There's this hill up to the supermarket near us & everyone says how awful this hill start is, I was on it a few weeks ago, stopped in traffic on such an incline, a car was stopped really close behind me and I must admit I was a little nervous but it was a piece of piss, take your foot off the break and before you even put your foot on the accelerator your rolling forwards.

My driving instructor told me all cars will be auto in the future? Not sure how true.

Best piece of advice I was given is never ever use your left foot on the brake I'm not sure that's advice as such, you drive an auto with your right foot 😂

There should be a nice resting foot area for your left foot.

I think so, all the lorries and buses and ambulances are auto and all the high end cars already.

I always take my left shoe off. Crazy; but it works for me!
