Will this be ok to eat tomorrow?

Opened some pork loins yesterday morning (dated 23rd May). Diced them and they've been marinating in fridge since. Was meant to have them later but am off out for an impromptu curry.

Will they be OK until tomorrow? So 50 hours in marinade, sealed in fridge?

Or should I freeze when I get home later?

They will be fine imo, tho the marinade my be a bit strong !

Assuming your fridge is working, I don't understand why they wouldn't be OK Confused.

What Barbara said. Unless your fridge is actually the hot press?

Meat has been out its original packaging for 50 hours when it will be eaten.

It's in a bowl with foil over.

I think as long as it is cooked properly it will be fine Smile

IMO we're too quick to throw food away (MIL is dreadfully wastefull with food), as long as it isn't mouldy and it doesn't smell funky then it will be ok

I roasted a chicken 2 days over the use by date yesterday. I would normally, but the only family member who feels queasy today is the vegan who didn’t eat it 🤷‍♀️
