Simple to most but a massive deal to me as I suffer with anxiety but this morning I had my hair cut! I’ve literally spent two years plucking up the courage to go and I’m so pleased with the results and of myself. I didn’t cry

How do you feel now it's done?

Main thing I’m feeling is relief! I’m normal, and don’t have skanky hair. She actually said it was healthy and not too bad at all but she was probably just being nice. It feels lovely and light and swishy!

I’m having a bit of an adrenaline rush with nothing to do right now so I’m getting some anxiety symptoms but trying to distract myself by talking to you lot

Yes I think I will. I’ll try not to leave it too long. Even if I’m not desperate for a cut, but more to stay in the habit.

Well done! Although I must admit I read 'I've spent almost two years plucking...' and thought 'Oh god I hope she hasn't been plucking her hair instead of getting it cut!

I did it last week! Was a hurdle for me for similar reasons. It still feels light and swishy now, enjoy OP

I have scalp psoriasis and hate, hate, hate having my hair cut. I’ve thankfully found an amazing hairdresser who puts me totally at ease and I love having nice hair again!
