Should I cancel GP appointment?

I’ve had a chesty cough, been tired/achy for a fortnight, but able to function and have been going to work as normal.

This morning, I had a funny turn on my way to work. Thought I might faint or be sick. Lightheaded, heart racing etc. Had to get off the train, but managed to pull myself together and made it into work.

Because I felt so ropey, I made a docs appointment for this afternoon, something I’d never normally do for ‘just’ a cough.

Have since had a couple of paracetamol and feel much better. Still a bit achy, esp in my back, but not coughing nearly as much as I have over the past couple of weeks.

Would I be wasting the doctors time if I don’t cancel my appointment?!

I think if you've had a funny turn and the cough has been going on for a couple of weeks, it's probably best to get checked out! Xx

Hope you feel better soon

If you’ve had a cough and felt rough for 2 weeks I’d agree that it’s worth getting checked over by a doc.
Hope you feel better soon Flowers
