How do you store your handbags?

I've just decorated my bedroom and am thinking about getting some nice hooks for the wall to display my favourite handbags. Maybe elephant shaped as I have an elephant canvas to hang in there (when the frame for it arrives).

I wondered how others' store/display their handbags? Or if they're packed away when not in use?

Mine are packed away when not in use.

Work and weekend bags are downstairs with the coats. Going out ones are in the wardrobe.

I wouldn't think of displaying them, they are practical items, not decoration for me.

Oh, I wonder if they might look daft then? I'm sort of used to at least a handful being out anyway (serial handbag swapper!). I have loads of bags but most live in the blanket box.

I wouldn't hang them, they will get dusty.

They may also fade unevenly in the light if you hang them on a wall.

Mine are in there dust bags on the top shelves of my wardrobe. I wish I had somewhere else to have them on display though. I've got built in Hammonds wardrobes and furniture so not much room around that. My favourite designers at the moment are Orla Kiely and Kate Spade. ☺️❤️👜

I wouldn’t display mine. They would get dusty/discoloured from sun. I have shelving in my wardrobe for them. The more expensive are in their dust bags

I just store in drawers or wardrobe. Well I did, but only got one left for going out and one I use daily. Had a big clear out.

Mine are flat in a drawer to protect them.

@YoureAllABunchOfBastards that made me smile . Hedgehog storage is at the bottom of the garden! We had mum and at least two babies last year so I've stayed away this year (nearly raked a sleeping one up with fallen leaves last year).

sprouts I love new handbags! Can't imagine just having the one. I think my next will be an £8 one from Primarni that I've been eyeing up for a while.

Mine are in the wardrobe as I don't like clutter and have some lovely artwork to display. But it also depends on your style. Having a wall of bags and hooks (like pic 2) would give me a headache to look at.
Billy bookcases from Ikea have glass doors and I've seen them used by bloggers for displaying bags and shoes.
