Am I blind...can’t see a nest just a wasp

SubTemp · 19/05/2019 14:12

Looks like bees to me

Verastsnhope · 19/05/2019 14:14

Bees. Probably masonry bees as too long for honey bees. They don’t sting at all. Leave them to it they will go soon enough 😊

The actual nest is bshind the wall cladding - you can only see the bees/wasps flying in and out

They look like masonry bees to me. Harmless if you leave them alone.

Oh, maybe that's what they are. It is indeed a sun facing wall and its a sunny day!

It's not a wasp. Just leave them alone, they'll be gone in a bit.

Capara · 19/05/2019 14:25

They didn't see wasp like in their behaviour - they were flying in and out with purpose and not just buzzing around.
I'm very relieved it's not a nest that needs dealing with! Although do hope they go soon because they're right next to garden door and keep making their way into the house when it's open.
