What temp would you cook this lamb at?

Jamie Oliver 5 ingredient recipe.

It says 170°c for 6 hours bit doesn't specify of its a fan oven or not. I thought most ovens were fan ovens these days so not sure of I should cook this at 150 fan?

(Sorry I know this is boring! Grin)

BBC has a 7 hour lamb recipe..I always cook it a higher than they say (maybe 150 in a fan oven?) and it comes out just fine.

It's this one, it's all prepared and ready to go in the oven, I just don't want to ruin it by either burning it or not cooking it enough!

170 will be fine in a fan oven. Check it in a couple of hours and adjust down if it’s looking too dark, or cover with foil.

It's already covered with foil

If already in foil then 170 is totally fine. I did lamb shoulder over Easter at 170 and it came out perfectly. Needed a bit longer than 5 hours though to get it perfectly tender.

Ok 170 it is then, thanks!
